Riding to change sympathy to survival
I will be riding my bike with other cyclists in the PERTH 700 ride to raise money to support people facing one of the world’s deadliest cancers.
For too long, pancreatic cancer has been underfunded, understudied, and overlooked. That ends now.
Every year, more than 7,100 Canadians are diagnosed and 6,100 die from this disease. Most are diagnosed too late, when treatment options are limited. Despite decades of effort, the five-year survival rate has risen from just 1% in the 1970s to only 10% today.
That’s not good enough.
I’m raising funds to help drive research breakthroughs, improve treatments, and support patients and families living with pancreatic cancer. Together, we can make survival possible.
Please donate today and be part of the movement for Survival, Not Sympathy.
