We're fundraising for...

I am participating for the run for Survival 2026 for Pancreatic Cancer research in honor for my late husband Al Solomon David.

Al was a husband, father and a friend. He touched everyone's lives and left a mark in each and everyone's heart.

In April 2025 our lives changed when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He fought this deadly disease for a year and he was gone April 2026.

Words could not express how quickly this cancer took him from us. He was just working and taking care after patients, enjoying his hobbies, and dreams then suddenly he was the one lying in the hospital bed.

We were racing against time and the treatments given has few options. I mean only one option, chemotherapy. We are hoping it will slow down and I will spend more time with him. I felt hopeless and helpless seeing him fade away and it was the hardest.

Pancreatic Cancer is stiil one of the most devastating cancers because it is often discovered when it was already on advance stage.
