A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Unshakable Grace

Our beloved Sara Carducci passed away on March 8, 2024, at just 57 years old, after a swift and heartbreaking 5-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made — on her family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to know her — will last forever.

Sara wasn’t just part of our lives — she was the center of it all. The heart of our family. The one who remembered every birthday, soothed every worry, and celebrated every success. She had a special connection with each person in her life, forming bonds that were deeply personal and full of love. Her presence made everyone feel safe, grounded, and deeply cared for.

More than anything, Sara lived for her family. Her love for her grandchildren was something magical. Watching her with them was like witnessing true love unfold — the way she looked at them, laughed with them, held them close. They were her joy, and she was theirs. Every hug, every story, every silly moment was a memory she cherished and made unforgettable for them.

But Sara was more than warmth — she was a leader in every sense. A quiet, steady force who carried those around her through life’s toughest moments with grace and courage. She faced her illness with the same strength she had always lived by — resilient, unshaken, and still putting others before herself, even when she was in pain.

Sara Carducci was not ordinary. She was extraordinary. She was the kind of woman who left an imprint on your heart — someone you never forget.

To honor her life and carry forward her legacy, we’ve created this fundraising page in support of Pancreatic Cancer Canada — an organization dedicated to advancing research, supporting patients, and, most importantly, developing early detection methods for this devastating disease.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, with a 5-year survival rate of just 13%. It often goes undetected until it’s too late — just as it did with Sara.

Early detection can save lives, and through your support, we hope to fund the research and resources needed to change the future for other families.

Thank you for helping us celebrate Sara’s life by making a lasting impact in her honor.

Her strength, love, and light will live on — in all of us, and in the good we do in her name.

With all our love,

The Carducci Family

💜 Introducing Our First Event: Sara’s Walk of Hope

Tuesday 23rd Sep

This year, my sister and I are hosting the very first Sara’s Walk of Hope. It’s more than just a walk, it’s a way for us to honour our mom, Sara, and to turn our love and grief into something that brings awareness, connection, and hope.

This event is so important to us because it carries Sara’s story forward. She was a strong woman who raised two strong daughters, and she poured her heart into her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She taught us to be kind, to be resilient, and to hold family close, lessons that will stay with us forever.

When Sara passed away from pancreatic cancer, it left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. But we knew we couldn’t let her story end there. By creating this walk, we are keeping her memory alive and making sure her legacy is one of strength, love, and hope.

Pancreatic cancer is often called a silent disease, and it doesn’t get the awareness or funding it desperately needs. Through this event, we want to shine a light on it, support research, and give families like ours hope for more time with the people they love.

Sara’s Walk of Hope is our first step in building something lasting. It’s the beginning of a tradition that honors her, raises awareness, and connects people who have been touched by pancreatic cancer. For us, it’s personal. It’s about ensuring that her strength lives on in everything we do.

💜 We walk because we will not forget her. We walk because this matters. 💜
