Lori was a passionate supporter of Pancreatic Cancer Canada and believed deeply in the importance of raising awareness and funds to advance research and support those affected by this disease.
In her memory, we invite you to join us for a Memorial Walk on September 28, 2025.
The walk is a chance to celebrate Lori’s life, honour her legacy, and stand together in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Please join us as we gather in Lori’s honour and carry forward her spirit of generosity, courage, and love. Your donation to Pancreatic Cancer Canada in Lori's honour will fund research, raise awareness and provide support for pancreatic patients and their families.
Your presence and support mean so much to Lori’s family, friends, and community. Together, we can continue the work she cared about so deeply and bring about change for those impacted by pancreatic cancer.
SCHEDULE
10am MEET: Parking lot in front of TAPS Public House, Meadowvale Town Centre, Mississauga.
10:30am KICKOFF: Pancreatic Cancer Canada (PCC) is sending a few representatives to meet with us so be ready for some photo ops. The official colour of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness is purple. So layer it on with fun accessories.
11:00am WALK START TIME: We will head over to Lake Aquitaine Park where we can have a leisurely 3K walk around the little lake.
12noon WALK END TIME: If your schedule allows, join for lunch at TAPS Public House.
Last year, Lori very kindly created a message for the Pancreatic Cancer Canada website to help raise awareness and understanding of her journey from a patient's perspective. Her words still resonate with us as we continue to remember her courage.
