We've raised enough sympathy. It's time to raise survival rates.

Ron Atkin would have been an amazing grandfather. Sadly, he never got that chance, and I never got the chance to know my grandfather, because pancreatic cancer took him a few years before I was born. He was a father, a future grandfather, a photographer, a reader, and more. Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, often taking people quickly due to it being difficult to detect early.
It does not have to remain one of the deadliest cancers, though.
I am preparing for my first full marathon in May, where I’ll be running in Ron’s memory to raise funds so that life-saving research, critical support programs, and greater awareness can be a possibility.
If you are able, please donate as I train for the longest run I’ve ever taken on, and help move towards an end of this disease.

For poppa Ron! Good luck Babby Gurl!!

Wow I am so in awe of you, Tegs! This cause is near and dear to my heart because I too have grandfather, who also is named Ron (what a coincidence), who lost his life to pancreatic cancer. So proud of you and I’m cheering you on!♥️♥️♥️
