ADRIAN LEWIS POWELL

June 2, 1943 - August 7, 2021 At Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg. The most amazing man to wife Sarah (Yarnell); father to Sacha Ward, Jonathan Robson, Cat and Nicky Powell; father-in- law to Ryan Ward, Jessica Hall-Cummings, and Max Fortgang; Papa to Hailey and Dylan Ward, and Bruce Robson; brother to Gerald Powell (Meta Tory); and son-in-law to Elizabeth Yarnell. 

Out of the night that covers me,​
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance​
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,

Hey Nicky...been so long! But I have been feeling your vibes every year for you dad and I still remember the time our dads sat next to each other at Roger's Cup for a women's match :) Sending you love and support. Dads rule. My babcia actually also passed from pancreatic cancer in 2010 just before Roger's Cup. I think that was our second year of you and I working together!
