Our story
Friday 13th MarThis golf event has been set up by the family of Eiad Dajani. Eiad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September 2024 and died eight short months later.
Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed at stage four. It is the third deadliest form of cancer in Canada and has a 10% survival rate. And, it is occurring in younger people far more often than in the past.
It is our hope that through this event, we can help improve the research and survival for others who will face this diagnosis.

Kickoff for 2026
Friday 13th Mar Very excited to announce that the second annual Eiad Dajani Legacy Classic will be held July 18, 2026.As a result of the sponsors and golfers who participated in the inaugural event in 2025, we were able to raise $7635! This year, our fundraising goal is $10 000. All proceeds raised will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Canada (now Pancreatic Cancer North America). Donations will be published on this site including golf proceeds, sponsorships and event activity monies when collected.
Your participation in this event helps improve the survival rates for those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A 10% survival rate is not good enough. It is the third deadliest form of cancer in Canada today.
Let’s give others a fighting chance.
