We're fundraising for our Dancing Queen, Regine!
In October 2025, our world changed when Regine — the heart and soul of our family — was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
It is a devastating diagnosis, and one that comes with incredibly daunting statistics. But alongside the fear and uncertainty, we also feel profoundly grateful. Grateful that her cancer was detected early, was resectable and that she could receive adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation (which she is finishing up on October 1st!!!). Grateful that the intent of this treatment is to CURE the cancer. Grateful to have access to an exceptional medical and care team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Royal Victoria Hospital. And grateful for the opportunity to participate in clinical trials that are helping advance the future of pancreatic cancer treatment.
Regine is the most generous person you will ever meet. She is the person who is always thinking of everyone else before herself, always giving, always showing up, and always making the people around her feel loved. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her — and for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
That’s why we are fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer North America.
Research, awareness, early detection, improved treatments, and access to clinical trials are crucial if we are going to change the statistics associated with pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised helps support the progress that gives patients and families more hope.
We feel incredibly fortunate for the care and opportunities my mom has had access to. But we also know that not everyone is as lucky. By fundraising, we hope we can play even a small part in helping improve outcomes and create a future where a pancreatic cancer diagnosis is no longer accompanied by such overwhelming odds.
Thank you for supporting this cause — and for supporting Regine, our family, and everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer. ❤️
