I'm fundraising for...

my mom, Trish Heard, who passed in October 2024 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. My mom was an avid fitness enthusiast and fundraiser. She completed numerous marathons while fundraising for Diabetes research on behalf of my Grandpa, Uncle, and later my brother.

There are currently no universal screening tests for pancreatic cancer contributing to an average 5 year survival rate of just 13% and making it is the 3rd leading cause of cancer related death,

The hope is that funds allow for the development of better screening and treatment for pancreatic cancer so that those affected have a better fighting chance.
