I'm fundraising for my grandfather, John Mooney, and for all those affected by pancreatic cancer.
I first came to care about pancreatic cancer because of my grandfather, John. He was the anchor of our family, and losing him to this disease sent us completely adrift. At the core, I do this work for him.
But over the past year and a half, my passion for this cause has grown into something even bigger because of the pancreatic cancer community.
I’ve had the
privilege of getting to know and care deeply about so many people who have experienced the devastation of this disease.
Every single story of loss motivates me to work harder every day.
And every story of survival—every story of someone beating the odds—inspires me
and convinces me that we can and will transform this disease in
our lifetime.
