This Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Give More Time for What Matters Most
Your gift helps families facing pancreatic cancer create more time together.
Every family facing pancreatic cancer needs time. Time for decisions, time for support, and time for the moments that become memories.
This Giving Season, give to expand critical programs so more families can find the time that meant so much to Connor, Jen and their young boys.
When Connor was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer at 39, the family’s world changed overnight. Our boys were 5 and not yet 2. In the early days of his illness, Connor wrote a letter to the boys, sharing the values he hoped would guide them through life. At its heart was a simple belief: hope.
“Hope is powerful. It can turn a negative outcome into a positive one. Hope can make you live longer, it helped me.”

A Family Determined to Not Leave One Stone Unturned
Connor and Jen quickly learned how complex and overwhelming this disease can be. They pushed for tests, asked difficult questions, and advocated for supportive care at home so they could be together as a family. While Connor received chemotherapy in Toronto, they researched clinical trials and joined wait lists across the United States.
Their persistence paid off. Connor was accepted into a clinical trial at a lesser known hospital in the U.S., giving him almost six months of quality time. Months filled with board games, bedtime stories, birthday celebrations, and memories the boys still talk about today.
We learned that survival is not always measured in years. Sometimes it is measured in memories.
Jen Lovrics
Connor's partner and Pancreatic Cancer Advocate
Connor never wanted what they learned to end with their family. He helped others navigate the system and supported two more patients in accessing the same clinical trial. His advocacy inspired the creation of The Connor Page Playbook for Navigating Clinical Trials, built with Pancreatic Cancer North America to help families understand their options and advocate with confidence.
Where Your Gift Will Make a Difference
Accessing Clinical Trials
Clinical trials can open doors to new and promising treatments. Through tools like the Connor Page Playbook, families receive clear guidance to understand trials, ask the right questions, and explore opportunities that may extend time with loved ones.
Ask an Expert
When families are overwhelmed and unsure where to turn, Ask An Expert provides clear, reliable information from trusted specialists. This free service helps patients, caregivers, and loved ones understand their options and feel confident in their next steps.
Palliative Care Integration
Palliative care is early, specialized support focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life from the moment of diagnosis. Your donation helps families manage symptoms, navigate care teams, and spend meaningful time together at home.
Peer Support and Counselling
Your gift helps provide safe, understanding spaces where patients, caregivers, and grieving families can connect with others who have lived experience, or receive confidential short term counselling. No one should have to carry this alone.
Make sure no family faces pancreatic cancer alone. Your support creates access to programs that bring comfort, clarity, and meaningful time together during life’s hardest moments.
Your generosity helps families hold on to what matters most: moments, memories, and time.
